£10,000 lottery cash for Drumgooland church

DRUMGOOLAND Parish Church has been awarded £10,000 by the Big Lottery’s ‘Energy Efficient Venues’ programme.

The church, which runs community events and activities in its church hall, will use the money to replace windows and exterior doors and upgrade insulation.

It is one of 14 groups across Northern Ireland which have been awarded grants from the Big Lottery Fund.

The programme offers Lottery cash to local groups to carry out improvements to community venues so they can make savings on heating and lighting costs and cut down on spending.
