£1.5m spent on bus service

TRANSPORT Minister Danny Kennedy spent one-and-a-half million pounds over the past three years to fund a bus service serving rural parts of Londonderry, Strabane and Omagh.

He revealed the amount of Rural Transport Grant Aid (RTGA) spent on the Easilink service rose annually from £392,853 in 2009/10 to £539,058.82 in 2010/11 to £549,454.68 in 2011/12.
