£160,000 investment in Limavady homes

Partner contractor PK Murphy Construction Ltd has recently started external maintenance work to 64 Housing Executive homes in Limavady. The project includes homes in Greystone Park, Windsor Avenue, Crawfordsquare in Limavady as well as Mullaghmeash Park in Feeny and a number of rural cottages in various locations.

Commenting on the start of the project, Trevor Glenn, Operations Manager for PKM said:

"We are delighted that this project has been given the go ahead. Not only is this good news for Housing Executive tenants but also for our own business and our workforce during this very difficult time for the construction industry.

We continually endeavour to ensure that tenants and their families face as little disruption as possible during the works, and our Customer Services Manager is available at all times to reassure tenants and deal with any queries or special circumstances."

Local Housing Executive District Manager, Eddie Doherty, is pleased to see the project underway and said:

External maintenance is designed to take care of the external elements of tenants' homes. The work includes the installation of new double glazed windows to many homes and replacement of defective front and rear doors, along with general external repairs and painting. PK Murphy Construction Ltd, as the Housing Executive partner contractor, is experienced in working in occupied homes and is committed to achieving a high quality finish with 100% satisfaction from our tenants."
