Transport Minister Danny Kennedy said: “This scheme represents a significant investment in the A26 at Dunsilly. It will deliver important benefits for drivers, increase the life of the road and improve the strength and ride quality of the carriageway.”

The scheme extends to both lanes of the roundabout and will include reshaping on the Lisnevenagh Road towards Ballymena.

To keep disruption to a minimum the work will be carried out each evening between 7:00 pm and 6:00 am from Monday, June 15 until Thursday, July 2.

To help ensure the safety of drivers and contractors access to and from the M22 Motorway will be restricted during evening working. Well signposted diversions will be in place.
