£24,500 for Ballykeel project
SOCIAL Development Minister Nelson McCausland has announced a further funding package of over £24,500 for a “Mature Adults Interactive Luncheon Club” in Ballykeel.
The project will bring together 100 older people from the Ballykeel area to increase community activity and assist in addressing social exclusion. As well as receiving a healthy meal participants will take part in a wide range of activities to include ICT courses, benefits advice, creative activities, and ‘soft’ exercise activities such as armchair aerobics.
