£3,384 spent on 12th fires

DERRY City Council spent £3,384 cleaning and repairing Twelfth of July bonfire sites in 2011, according to the Environment Minister Alex Attwood.

Limavady Borough Council spent £668, whilst in Strabane there was no clean-up or repair expenditure. The total bill across Northern Ireland was £89,947.

The Minister released the information in response to an Assembly Question from his party colleague £89,947.
