£35k in unpaid debt wrote off
DERRY City Council wrote off £35,517 in monies owed for payment of services over the last three years, it has been revealed.
The sum fell from £12.918 in 2008/9 to £9,844 in 2009/10 before rising to £12,755 again in 2010/11.
Environment Minister Alex Attwood revealed the level of debt from monies written off due to failure to pay for services in response to an Assembly Question.
