£4,000 for Roe Residents

ROE Valley Residents Association were presented with a cheque for £4,000 towards their work with the community in the Limavady area.

The presentation was made by Mrs Paddy Bailie, Deputy Chairman of the Lloyds TSB Foundation for Northern Ireland when she visited the organisation recently. Mrs. Bailie stated prised the work of the community group.

She said: "The Lloyds Foundation for Northern Ireland is delighted to be able to support the work of Roe Valley Residents Association. The money will be used so that the organisation can continue to support and expand the services offered within the community house. We wish the organisation continuing success with their excellent work in the community."

Lloyds TSB Foundation for Northern Ireland awards between 1.5 and 2 million annually in support of the Northern Ireland Community to enable people, especially disadvantaged or people with special needs, to play a fuller role in their community.
