'£50 litter fine a bit steep'

HAVING received a litter fine for 50 for dropping a cigarette butt out of my car I find this a bit steep, when you walk down William St on a Saturday and Sunday morning and you would think a bomb had hit it. You can be sure no one was about to fine them.

It's not the fine I'm complaining about, I did drop the butt ,but 50 is too much for that object.

I was a moving target, if I was walking down the street with a few other people the warden would have put his head down in fear of confrontation.
