£5,000 funding for Exploring Enterprise programme
BALLYMONEY Borough Council has confirm its funding of £5,000 towards continuation of the Exploring Enterprise programme in 2012/13.
During a recent Development Committee meeting, members heard: ‘The Committee received satisfactory evaluation report on the programme supported in 2011/12 under which two courses were successfully delivered to 20 participants, all achieving level 2 certificate in business enterprise, 7 going into self-employment, 6 into employment and 3 going on to further education/training.’
Members commended the success of this programme delivered by the local enterprise agency.
It was proposed by Councillor Cavlan seconded by Alderman Campbell that committee confirm its funding of £5,000 towards continuation of the programme in 2012/13.
