£53m DCC wage bill
THE wage bill at Derry City Council was £53,183,527 over the past three years.
The Minister of the Environment Edwin Poots outlined the wage bill in response to an Assembly Question.
The Council paid staff 16,371,428 in 2007/8; 17,939,806 in 2008/9; and 18,872,293 in 2009/10.
