£5m sports money to city

SPORTS NI has allocated £5m to Derry City Council over the past five years, Sports Minister Carál Ní Chuilín has revealed.

She revealed the £4,958,059 local expenditure in response to an Assembly Question.

She stated: “In the last five financial years Sport NI has allocated capital funding totalling £62,339,048 to district councils in the north of Ireland.”
