PSNI appeal after assault in Cookstown
Police are investigating a report of an assault in the Molesworth Street area of Cookstown on Sunday (September 15th).
It was reported that a man had been confronted by two men, who asked him for money before assaulting him, shortly before 1.24am.
He sustained a cut to his left eye. Anyone who can help police with their enquiries is asked to contact them on 0845 600 8000. Alternatively information about crime can be passed anonymously via the independent Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.
