PSNI Chief appointed
CHIEF Superintendent Stephen Martin, the PSNI G District Commander, has announced that Chief Inspector Garry Eaton has taken up the post of Area Commander for Foyle since Monday,October 24.
“On behalf of the District I would like to extend a very warm welcome to Garry. He has extensive and varied experience as a police officer and will be an asset to the team.
“I would like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to the dedicated service provided by Jon Burrows throughout his time as temporary Area Commander. Jon has been at the forefront of many successful operations and has played a consistent and positive role in moving policing forward. I am pleased to say that Jon will be remaining in the city in a position yet to be decided,” said Commander Martin.
