PSNI cordon off footpath as part of ‘ongoing investigation’

A SECTION of footpath opposite Londonderry’s main cityside police station was cordoned off on Thursday morning (December 15) as the PSNI attended commerical premises as part of an ongoing investigation.

Access to Envy bar and nightclub and the North West Money Exchange on the Strand Road and the lane running between the two premises was denied as a result of the cordon.

A PSNI spokesperson told the Sentinel: “Police are attending commercial premises as part of an ongoing investigation.”
