PSNI replay RTC that claimedpensioner's life
The Culmore Road in Londonderry was closed for several hours at the weekend to enable police to reconstruct the accident that claimed the life of 70-year-old Brendan O'Connor in February.
The thoroughfare was closed for several hours from 9pm on Sunday, April 3.
Local diversions were put in place and motorists were advised to seek alternative routes.

Hide AdThe PSNI’s Collision Investigation Unit has also renewed its appeal for witnesses to the collision, in which Mr O’Connor was knocked down and killed.
Constable Paula Hanna of the PSNI said: “We would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have been in the vicinity of the Culmore Road at around 6.45pm and observed anything that could assist with our investigation to contact police on 101.”
