Pub regulars raise £800 for sick children

Representing the patrons of the pub on the Lecky Road, Paddy Tyre, Charlie McLaughlin and Eamon Tyre, presented the vouchers to the hospital.

They were amongst those who helped raise the money through a sponsored walk in Dowings, Donegal at the end of October.

Breige Gallagher, Children’s Ward Sister commented: “I would like to give a big thank-you to everyone who has donated to the Children’s Ward over the last 12 months; it is greatly appreciated and put to good use by the children in Ward 6.”
