Public is urged to help catch ‘unscrupulous’ burglars
A spate of burglaries at the weekend was “the work of unscrupulous criminals”, a local councillor has said.
Police received a report on Friday that cash was taken from a house at Croft Road, Carnlough. Later it was found entry was gained into a house at Mounthill Road, Larne. Nothing is believed to have been taken. Likewise at a house at Ballymullock Road
Cllr James McKeown (Sinn Fein) said: “People need to be vigilant because these burglaries are the work of unscrupulous criminals. Anybody who has any information should come forward.”
