The vibrant club has enjoyed a busy season so far - and many successes.

Thursday 19th May saw Finvoy hold their annual parents and friends evening in honour of their past year’s events and successes. The evening consisted of prize distribution and presentation of gifts. Then after all the formalities the audience was treated to Finvoy’s own choir, a comedy sketch and a re-performance of their annual arts festival show.

With guest speaker Martyn Blair (now former president of YFCU) sharing his success through his years in Finvoy to the more recent members being rewarded by county and even success at Northern Ireland level, Finvoy YFC certainly has a lot to be proud of!

On 28th April Finvoy took to the stage in their production of ‘More Tea Vicar’ in Ballymoney High School.

It resulted in Finvoy receiving second place in the province at the annual drama awards dinner held on May 10th. And the club’s “fantastic and patient producers” Stephanie Fulton and Karena Shaw won the award for Best Producers.

A great day was had by all and the club would like to offer sincere thanks to their generous sponsors for their contributions - Chestnutt Animal Feeds, Reas of Finvoy, Steele Farm supplies, Riada Vets, Creagh concrete Ltd., G Kennedy, JF Car sales, Tommy Hogg, McLaughlins Corner, MacAuley Trailors, Finvoy Tyre Service, Ballyrashane Creamery, BC Plant, Greenhill Haulage, United Feeds, A Gault, Tullaghans Engineering and D Christie and Son.

Thanks must go to Brian Hanna who supplied the club with his pristine vintage tractor. A big thanks must also go to those who came out to support the club along the route and in the town centre. A final total will be released in the upcoming weeks by the club in aid of this worthwhile charity.
