Punter scoops £33k after £1 Euromillions bet

BoyleSports reported a massive payout from their Markethill shop which saw the punter net £33,001 after their £1 stake.

Their numbers 7-10-11-12 defied the odds of 33,000/1.

The numbers came up on Tuesday night’s EuroMillions but the bet was placed with BoyleSports bookies in Markethill.

Indeed it was one of two big payouts for the bookies.

A Cork punter also defied the odds of 33,000/1 after their numbers 7-11-12-19 were also drawn and from their 0.50cent stake they won a whopping €16,500.50.

Numerous other punters won big amounts from BoyleSports across the country with Tuesday’s EuroMillions numbers 7-10-11-12-19 costing the firm six figures in payouts overall.

Liam Glynn, BoyleSports’ spokesperson said: “The punters continue to win big from small stakes with BoyleSports in what has been a month that we will be glad to see end judging by the large payouts on Lotto bets over the past few weeks.

He added “Tuesday nights EuroMillions numbers were very low and the common numbers are played on a regular basis as the numbers tend to be birthday dates of the punters who play on a weekly basis.”
