Pure and Simple is going from strength to strength

She said: “We now have a regular client base, most of which are passing customers on route to the city, customers attending Altnaglevin Hospital for appointments from as far away as Omagh, Enniskillen and further afield.

“I have met wonderful people on their travels through the North of Ireland. Customers from New Zeland, Austrailia and America. We also have considerable clientele from the surrounding village of Newbuildings.

We have recently started our daily carvery menu between 12pm-3pm. Roast beef, turkey & ham, from 5.50 takeaway or from 5.95 sit in. Full range of desserts also available . Our summertime menu includes, wraps paninis baked potatotoes, open steak/chicken sandwiches and a full range of made to order sandwiches and salads.

Christine very recently attended the Culloden Hotel with her parents at her side to receive an award. She was one of the finialists for the VQ Learner of the Year award 2010. for her success in completing a small business financial management level 3 diploma and successfully opening a new business on the back this. “

“Being shortlisted was a surprise in itself. It was only when I attended the Culloden it was made clear that I had actually qualified as one of the 11 finialists in the over 25 year old bracket, applicants were from all over the north of Ireland. Linda Bryans UTV presenter and Sir Reg Empey presented the award on June 23.

“I am very proud of this achievement and very proud of the last 6 months hard work. It would not have been possible with just my own input and commitment, so I would like to thank my mum and dad, my work colleague, Noeleen Mclaughlin, and close friends for all their support over the past few months..without them my dream to open a nice wee coffee shop in newbuildings would not have come true. A place where customers can relax in an informal neutral setting , enjoy great coffee, and great food.

Opening 10am-4pm, Monday to Friday and 10am-3pm Saturday.
