Put his seat belt on ‘a little bit too late’
A motorist who put on his seat belt as he was driving out of a filling station was fined £90 last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for not wearing a seat belt.
Liam McEvoy (31), Larkfield Meadows, Craigavon, also received three penalty points. As well he was fined £90 for not having a valid vehicle test certificate.
The court heard that at 9.20am on September 27 last year he was seen driving out of a filling station not wearing his seat belt.
McEvoy’s solicitor said that as he was leaving the filling station he pulled on his seat belt. He put it on a little bit too late.
