Friends in Action reaches out to missionary groups and individuals based worldwide by helping them with equipment needs and other physical demands that they face in their ministry.

The money raised will help to provide agricultural equipment for the Tanda tribe living in Ojague, Guinea, West Africa to improve its food production.

Each time the charity have sent a team to Ojague, it has been witnessed how gruelling the labour is for the local people just to provide their food.

David Rainey (Friends in Action), Ronnie and the team intend to travel out to Africa in June to assess the agricultural needs of the village,

Ronnie said: “I saw an ad about the project at the Balmoral Show last year and knew it was something I would like to get involved with.

“We will be spending 10 days out there assessing and understanding the needs of the villagers and then, God willing we will send them out what they need and go out and train them.”

All proceeds from the event in May will go towards supplying a tractor and other families to the villagers. At the BBQ there will be something for everyone, rodeo bull, bouncy castle, mini digger competition, face painting, craft stalls, and an auction.
