Quiz to raise funds for Dromore group

The Diamond Rural Development group will hold a table quiz night in Skeogh Orange Hall on Thursday February 25 at 7.30pm.

Teams can be up to five people at a cost of £5.00 per person, which includes a light supper to be served afterwards and everyone of all ages will be made welcome.

The group which was formed almost thirteen years ago immediately initiated plans to raise funds that would go towards improving facilities in the hall.

As a group they annually hold a number of functions in the hall where the local community can come along and enjoy each other’s company in friendly surroundings.

This year’s activities include dancing classes, a tractor run, a big breakfast morning and community craft classes.

The group meets regularly and would appeal to the local community to come along and meet with them so that they may discuss the issues that affect all of their rural needs. They look forward to meeting people at the quiz next week.
