‘R’ driver fined for speeding offence
A 22-year-old ‘R’ driver was fined £100 last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for exceeding 45mph.
Breandan Richard McNeice, Carrigart, Craigavon, was also given three points.
The court heard he was travelling at 61mph in a 40mph zone on the Portadown Road, Lurgan on May 22 this year.
He was a restricted driver.
Mr Paddy Moriarty, representing the defendant, said McNeice had been driving in towards Lurgan and traffic at the time was light.
