Rail work on track for April opening

RAIL Minister Danny Kennedy says work on the Londonderry to Coleraine rail line is on course for completion in April when services on the track are scheduled to resume as normal.

East Londonderry MLA George Robinson asked the Minister what progress has been made on the relaying of the Coleraine to Londonderry rail link, including an estimate of the completion date.

Mr Kennedy replied: “My Department is closely monitoring progress with the relaying of the Coleraine to Londonderry rail link and is represented at Project Board Meetings.
