Raising the bar of success at St Joseph's

ST JOSEPH'S College in Coleraine far exceeded the national average for GCSE results yet again.

Continuing the outstanding achievements of A-level students, 84% of the college’s GCSE students achieved five A* to C grades while 63% achieved seven or more A* to C grades.

Principal, Ronnie Kelly, (right) attributed this success to the high standards and expectations set by his teaching staff, the dedication and enthusiasm of his pupils and the help and support offered by parents.

Mr Kelly said: “There is no better feeling than to see young people grow in self-esteem and equip themselves with the knowledge and robust qualifications to enable them to fulfil their dreams.”
