Randox to recruit 100 more staff

Crumlin health firm Randox Laboratories is to hire 100 more staff this summer due to a leap in profits.

The company has had one of its most successful years on record in 2013, with pre-tax profits up from £2.5m to £12.9m.

The boost in turnover has been due to investment in research and developments, new products and markets, according to the company.

Over 200 staff have been recruited in 2014, with 50 due to start in September.

The new roles will include engineers, biomedical scientists, business and marketing specialists, physicists and mathematicians.
