Rasharkin civic week

The fun begins on Monday, 2nd August, with a Mosiac Workshop for 8 - 11 year olds, from 10.00am - 3.30pm. Cost is 2 per child. Bring a packed lunch. (BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL – Telephone 295 71132 or 295 71567)

On Tuesday, 3rd August, there is an opportunity to have a go at a range of sports in a Multi-skills day. The event for Juniors (8 - 11yr olds) runs from 11.00am - 12.30pm, and for Seniors (12+) from 1.00 - 2.30pm. Cost is 1 per child.

The fun continues on Wednesday 4th August with a Family Fun event, commencing at 6.30pm with a Walking Treasure Hunt around the village, with both an adults’ and children’s hunt included, followed by a bar-b-q. Cost, including supper is 2.50 for adults and 1 for children.

Other attractions on the night include: a bouncy castle, sumo wrestling, face painting, speed cage, tombola and a horse-shoe throwing competition.

All the Summer Fun events are funded by Ballymoney Borough Council’s Community Festival Fund and everyone is welcome to come along and join in the fun.
