Rathlin Island medical evacuation
A person was medically evacuated from Rathlin Island on Monday Morning by the Rathlin Express where they were met by an ambulance at Ballycastle Harbour before onward transmission to the Causeway Hospital.
Ballycastle Coastguard team were also in attendance.
Yesterday (Sunday) at 1.15pm, the Coleraine Coastguard Rescue Team was tasked to prepare the helicopter landing site at the Causeway Hospital.
The Rathlin Coastguard Team was also tasked to prepare a helicopter landing site on Rathlin for the arrival of RN Sea King Helicopter Rescue 177.
A female casualty was flown to Coleraine and handed into the care of paramedics.
