Ravarnette WI
Mrs Marie Gamble, the Vice President of Ravarnette WI welcomed Mrs. Margaret Tolerton, the ex Mayor of Lisburn at to their recent meeting.
They then presented Mrs. Tolerton with a cheque for £500 for her charity Lagan Valley Diabetes Fund.
Margaret then treated them to some wonderful stories of her year as Mayor and her eventful visit to New Zealand.

Hide AdA delicious supper was then served. Mrs. Gamble passed on our condolences to Margaret Neill, Maureen Stewart and Lizzie Ervine on their recent bereavements.
A new member Mrs. Jean Keery was warmly welcomed. The competition for an egg cup was won by Marina McKeown, with Marie Gamble second and Lesley Bridgett third. The ballot was won by Elizabeth Jess and the birthday girls for July, August and September were Ann Robinson, Marjorie Howarth and Brenda Gillespie.
