RBL meeting
The women’s section of the Royal British Legion in Ballymoney Branch held their meeting Thursday 24 April in the clubrooms.
The chairman opened the meeting by receiving the standard and reciting the exhortation she then welcomed everyone and apologies were accepted from rs A. Black, M. Holmes, V. Hamilton, M. Holmes, T. McFarland, E. Elliott and S. Pinkerton.
The secretary read the minutes of the last meeting and all business was attended to.

Hide AdThe competitions for the prettiest Broach were won by the following people:
1st Mrs Ruth Stewart
2nd. Mrs Annie Dobbin
3rd Mrs Mary Kerr.
We then had a hush is with some ladies reading and some knitting. The meeting closed with the return of the standard and singing of the national anthem.
