Read for RNIB in Lisburn library
Did you know that only seven percent of printed materials books, information leaflets or documents are produced in accessible formats such as braille, large print or audio?
To highlight this issue, Lisburn in Focus, a Big Lottery funded project led by RNIB NI, is having a children’s storytime event on Friday, October 11, at 3.30pm in Lisburn City Library. Story titles including, ‘We’re going on a Bear Hunt’ and ‘The Gruffalo’ will be read via Braille and large print by storytellers who are blind or partially sighted.
