A Ballymoney teenager has cut off her hair...all in the name of charity.

Rebecca Wallace from Ballymoney High School donated 15” of her hair to Little Princess Trust, who make wigs for children who have lost their own hair due to cancer treatment or other illnesses.

Rebecca not only did the brave act but also raised £500 money for her sponsored haircut on 15th November via a Just Giving Page online (www.justgiving.com/fundraising/RebeccaWallace15) and sponsor sheets.

“I am absolutely delighted to have raised beyond my target and be able to cover the cost which is £350-£500 for making a wig for a child who has lost their hair, due to cancer or another illness. I hope it will make someone happy.

“I would like to thank everyone for their kind donations and raising the magnificent total of £500 for such an amazing charity.”
