Recognition for Grace
UNIVERSITY of Ulster design student Grace Coote (right) from Lurgan has attended a special prize presentation at Central Station in recognition of her artwork in a Translink poster design competition.
Students, completing the Interactive Multi-Media Design (IMD) degree at Jordanstown, were provided with a ‘live’ Translink design brief and asked to create fun and vibrant artwork that would increase awareness amongst young people about the benefits of the Translink Student Discount card.
Students were required to deliver a series of key messages within their artwork including: the 7 cost of the Translink student discount card, its validity for a full academic year, the card’s online renewal facility and to communicate that the card is available to all full time students in Northern Ireland.
