Recycling project praised
BALLYMONEY Borough Council has endorsed an environmental project adopted by a local school as part of a Junior Industry Challenge.
Balnamore Primary School impressed councillors when six of their pupils accompanied by principal, Ms Jackie Morrison, made a presentation to the council’s Health and Environmental Services on the theme of recycling. The presentation highlighted the school’s business project and councillors were so impressed that they agreed to throw their weight behind it.
