Recycling raises cash for Moira youth group

THE Logic Café, a youth initiative of St John’s Parish Church in Moira, recently partnered with All-Tex Recyclers to collect clothing suitable for re-use as a way to generate funds for their work with young people and the local community.

Staff, volunteers, members, friends, locals and supporters of the group and church all got behind the campaign and generated an amazing £2300 for their efforts in promoting the re-use of clothing as a fundraising tool.

Alan Groves, Regional Co-ordinator with All-Tex Recyclers said: “We were delighted to work alongside Matt and the Logic Cafe to help them raise money and encourage the re-use of clothing. It has been a pleasure to work with such a focused and committed group of people and it is a credit to them the extent of their success. I must say I am so impressed with the work they do for everyone and their enthusiasm and drive towards fundraising evident through our ‘Reduce, Re-use and Recycle Scheme.’ I am so pleased to be able to reward their efforts with this cheque.”
