Red Cross collection at Tesco
The Red Cross in Northern Ireland is hoping that high levels of awareness about the current refugee crisis will encourage volunteers to come forward for a collection at Tesco in Lisburn this coming weekend – 19 and 20 September.
Red Cross volunteers across Europe are working around the clock to support hundreds of thousands of refugees as they attempt to reach safety.
From Turkey to Hungary to Greece to the UK, the Red Cross is striving to support people who flee war and persecution.
