Rejection of claim that Bushmills event ‘not pushed’

A MOYLE council official has rejected a claim from Ulster Unionist councillor Willie Graham that the recent international ploughing match at Bushmills was “never mentioned” by the local authority.

Caroline Carey said the ploughing match was “featured quite heavily” on the Council website and on facebook and there were links to other tourism sites.

The discussion came during a debate about promotion of tourism.
