The Department of Regional Development operates ten off-street car parks in Ballymoney, two of which are subject to charges – Church Street and Castle Street.

Mr Storey commented: “I have been lobbying Minister Kennedy on this issue and am happy he has seen sense to maintain the status-quo. The eight free car parks in Ballymoney collectively offer some 505 spaces. This equates to 84 per cent of all off-street spaces. This decision will continue to support commercial activity in the town and I strongly welcome it.”
