Relief of Derry parade in city

Lisburn branch of Apprentice boys of Derry no surrender club will host this year’s annual relief of Derry parade on Sunday August 3 and the worthy president would encourage a large turnout.

The parade will also include Sir Knights from Largymore black district No 9 and Lisburn black district No 1.

Brethren, Sir Knights and bands are asked to assemble at Lisburn Orange Hall, Railway Street at 2.15pm for the parade to commence at 2.45pm sharp.

The parade will make its way through Lisburn City Centre via Wallace Avenue, Seymour Street, Castle Street, Market Square, Bow Street, Market Place, Hillsborough Road, Church Lane and into Christ Church for a 3.30pm service, which will be conducted by the Rev John Pickering.

The return route from Christ Church will begin at approximately 4.30pm and will make its way back to the Orange Hall in Railway Street via Hillsborough Road, Market Place, Bow Street, Antrim Street, Bachelors Walk and Railway Street.
