Amidst these things which now confront you

Let’s learn to adapt with cheerfulness

The things we can’t change on the way,

Life is not always an upward climb

And tomorrow’s another day.

Faith is the link which binds us to God

Let Him your strong reliance be,

Through every change keep holding on

He has already heard your plea.

Through the pattern of each day’s events

If you make Him your strength and stay,

And focus upon His immeasurable mercy

Those anxious thoughts will all give way.
