Remembering 'Rabbie' at Ballysally

BALLYSALLY residents enjoyed a Burns Night celebration last week.

The event, held in Ballysally Primary School was well attended, with guest being treated to a night of foot tapping music and humour.

In the finest tradition, John Trotter piped in the Haggis, presented by Building Ballysally Together committee member, Lexi Hynds, and the toast was raised to Robbie Burns.

The celebrations were held under the Historical and Cultural Awareness project as part of the IFI Community Relations Programme currently running Ballysally and Millburn.

Building Ballysally Together would like to thank the principal of the school for allowing them to host the event, and for his continued support for the ongoing work in the Ballysally area.

Building Ballysally Together would also like to encourage more community residents take part in future events and anyone interested in finding out more should contact the Community Relations Officer on 70 327 076.
