Remembering the community’s 
recently departed

The death took place peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital of Lily McDowell of Ennis Close.

She was the wife of the late Gabriel and mother of Jennifer, Josephine, Catherine, Noeleen, Gabrielle and Michael.

Her funeral was last Thursday from her home to St Peter’s Church followed by interment in St Colman’s Cemetery.

William John Adamson

On January 12, the death took place suddenly at Craigavon Hospital of William John (Billy) Adamson.

He was the husband of Audrey from Woodlands, Gilford and father of Sharon and Mark.

A service of thanksgiving for Billy’s life was held in St Paul’s Parish Church on Tuesday followed by interment at Tullylish Parish Churchyard.

Andrew Crozier

The death took place on January 12, at home in Anglesey, North Wales, of former Lurgan man Andrew Crozier.

He was the husband of Osa and father of Siobhan, Jonathan and Lance and the brother of Enid, Geraldine, Fred and Kenneth.

David McAvoy

On January 12, David McAvoy of Knocknamuckly Lane, died suddenly in hospital.

He was the husband of Janet and father of Stephanie.

His funeral service was in Shankill Parish on Wednesday, followed by interment in Lurgan Cemetery.
