Remembrance parade and local events

Lisburn District LOL No.6 and the Pride of Knockmore Flute are holding a parade and act of remembrance on Saturday 7th November.

The parade leaves Lisburn Orange Hall at 11am for an act of remembrance at the war memorial.

In connection with this act of remembrance, the Railway Street Ulster British Society are hosting a series of exhibitions and lectures in Lisburn Orange Hall.

Admission to events is free and all are welcome.

On Wednesday 4th November from 2pm to 9pm, the War Years Remembered Exhibition of WW1 memorabilia and artefacts.

On Thursday 5th November from 2pm to 8pm, an Exhibition of memorabilia of WW1 including a special exhibition of badges and insignia of the Irish regiments.

On Thursday 5th November at 8pm, a Lecture by David Gourley on the battle of Gallipoli 1915.

On Friday 6th November 2015 from 2pm to 8pm, Exhibition of artefacts and memorabilia of WW1.
