Remembrance Parades

This year’s Remembrance Day parade in Ballymena will take place on Sunday, (November 8).

The Services Club will be open from 9.45am for those who need to collect their wreath. The parade will form up at the Services Club at 10.15am to march off at 10.25am

The parade, led by the Castlegore Amateur Flute Band, will proceed up Trostan Avenue, Castle Street, Harryville Bridge, Waveney Avenue onto the Galgorm Road to the Remembrance Garden.

At approximately 11.20am the parade will then form up and parade to a church service in First Presbyterian Church, on the Meetinghouse Lane, via Wellington Street where the Deputy Lord Lieutenant will take the salute.After the church service the parade will form up and march back to the Services Club, via The Demesne and Tardree Grove.

The parade in Broughshane will gather at the village community centre at 10.30am for the march to the war memorial in the centre of the village.

In Cullybackey the parade of Legion members and various youth organisations will take place at 2.30pm through the village.
