Remembrance Sunday

REMEMBRANCE Sunday will be marked in Londonderry on November 13 with the usual service of reflection at the war memorial in The Diamond.

The service will be led by the Dean of Derry, the Very Rev Dr William Morton, and will include the Last Post, traditional Silence, Reville and wreath laying ceremony. The outdoor Act of Remembrance will begin at 10.45am.

Afterwards the usual Remembrance Sunday religious service will take place in St Columb’s Catheral at 11.30am.

Among the guests will be the Lord Lieutenant of Londonderry and the Mayor, Alderman Maurice Devenney.

The Church Service will also be conducted by Dean Morton.
