Report suspicious activity

Banbridge PSNI are again urging people to report suspicious activity, saying it is one of the best ways to catch criminals and deter them from operating in this area.

“Over the last week we have had a number of domestic burglaries and thefts from business premises.

“In some cases, burglars are forcing their way into homes in broad daylight. In other instances the grounds of business premises have been entered with would be thieves blatantly attempting to remove property.

“Thieves can only operate successfully when we pay no attention or when we don’t realise what their true intentions are.

“We are asking you all to be nosy neighbours. If you see a vehicle which looks out of place or notice people acting in a way that makes you uncomfortable, lift the phone and contact us straight away. Also be security conscious.

“We will continue with anti-burglary patrols and continue to respond as quickly as possible to reports of suspicious activity.”
