Reports of bricks thrown at A1 traffic in Loughbrickland
On Thursday evening, Police were receiving numerous reports of youths throwing bricks at lorries travelling on the A1 at Loughbrickland.
The PSNI Banbridge page on Facebook said that the lorry drivers were “obviously travelling at speed” and showed concern that “being hit with bricks potentially could have fatal consequences for the driver or cause a very serious incident involving other motorists.”
Police were urging parents to be aware of their children’s whereabouts. Any information to Banbridge police on 101.
