Reports of vandals in Moortown graveyard

The lady, who did not want to be named, said it’s not the first time graves in the cemetery have been the targeted.

But in this latest attack on her loved one’s grave, she said flowers on the grave were tampered with.

“It’s a disgrace that you can’t put something on the grave and it left alone,” she said.

But when speaking about this latest incident, she said:“It’s not the first time.”

Keen to make others aware of what’s going on she added: “People are supposed to be paying their respects to people.”
